Our Master 700 Director is the sensational Becki Hine, who inspires us to reach new heights with each rehearsal and performance. She is a Certified Judge in the Showmanship category of Sweet Adelines International.
Becki became the director of Song of Atlanta in 1993 and achieved the highly coveted title of Master Director in 1999 and Master 700 Director in 2010. She has directed the chorus in many Regional and International competitions. She directed the chorus in five top ten placements in International competition. She has also directed and produced several Song of Atlanta CD recordings.
On a personal level, Becki's family is deeply steeped in barbershop. Her husband is the esteemed arranger and coach, Clay Hine, the International Championship baritone of FRED Quartet and director of Atlanta Vocal Project Chorus. Clay is the baritone of the current 4th place International medalist quartet, A Mighty Wind. Her daughter, Melody, sings with Song of Atlanta and son, Camden, sings with Georgia Spirit and Atlanta Vocal Project.
