Happy New Year everyone! We've had a great season so far! The holidays found us enjoying festivities with family and friends as well as our own annual holiday party, which is always a big hit! To top off the party, we enjoyed gathering together around the big screen to cheer on Maxx Factor quartet on "The Sing Off"! They made the entire barbershop community so proud and isn't it amazing to see the rest of the world falling in love with a cappella harmony with shows like "The Sing Off" and "Glee"? We feel so lucky to be able to enjoy this magical brand of harmony each week and with our favorite people! We had a fabulous coaching session with Dale Syverson last November. Several of us attended International convention in Nashville last fall and cheered on our own Spice quartet as well as TuneTown and Metro Nashville choruses. They represented Region 23 so well! In early January, several of our members took advantage of PVI's with Region 23's Jennifer Cooke. We'll be taking advantage of even more PVI's in the future, incorporating the many talents within SOA! In mid-January, we enjoyed a very productive coaching session with "The Post-Master" (because who can post a note better than this guy?), Tim Reynolds, for a great coaching session! There's nothing like a pivotal coaching session to get us revved up! CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER! We are pleased to share exciting news with you that our own Master Director, Becki Hine, has achieved "Certified Showmanship Judge" status within Sweet Adelines International! This is a great accomplishment and one that took many years of her hard work and dedication to make a reality! Becki never ceases to make us proud and we are so thrilled to share this exciting news with you!
